The Lime Tree Cafe & Kitchen is looking for an experienced Head Baker to lead their kitchen operations. This role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining high-quality food standards, and leading the culinary team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for food excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality product output.

Prepare and cook food for regular services and special functions.

Develop, design, and create new menu items and recipes.

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, leading by example and maintaining productivity.

Manage inventory, including food purchasing and storage standards.

Foster a positive work environment by promoting trust and cooperation among team members.

Develop goals and schedules, ensuring operational and financial objectives are met.

Handle customer complaints and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
What We Are Looking For:

Education: High school diploma or GED; culinary degree is a plus.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in the culinary, food, and beverage industry; at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills: Strong culinary knowledge, leadership, communication skills, and the ability to develop creative menu options.
