Guest Services Executive – Jumeirah Dubai

Jumeirah Group, a leading luxury hospitality company based in Dubai, is seeking a dedicated Guest Services Executive to join their team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend promptly to all guest requests, requirements, and complaints, ensuring effective and timely resolution.

  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date knowledge of local activities and establish business contacts to meet guest requests.

  • Promote and sell in-house restaurants, facilities, and other destinations to guests.

  • Handle restaurant seat bookings and arrange additional guest requests such as transportation.

  • Reconfirm guest flights and communicate confirmations to guests.

  • Monitor daily arrival, VIP, and departure lists to ensure preparedness.

  • Maintain the Concierge desk, Mail room, and store room in a neat and orderly fashion.

  • Log and report guest comments and complaints, ensuring timely follow-up.

  • Coordinate with Executive Offices for document and message delivery.

  • Manage lost and found items by forwarding them to Security.

  • Monitor telephone message printer and distribute messages every 20 minutes.

  • Attend briefings and meetings as required.

  • Ensure smooth and efficient operation of guest and information services.

  • Handle and distribute all guest messages, mail, telexes, and parcels within 20 minutes of receipt.

  • Forward mail as requested by guests and keep accurate records.

  • Manage unclaimed mail and arrange periodic returns.

  • Maintain an extensive and current selection of booklets, guides, maps, and brochures.

  • Ensure availability and proper handling of postage stamps.

  • Uphold high standards of guest service professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary education completed.

  • Minimum 2 years of guest service experience in a 5-star hotel environment.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Knowledge of front office applications.

  • Good local area knowledge.

  • Clef d’Or accreditation is preferred but not mandatory.
