Fairmont The Palm, a luxury resort located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, is looking for a personable and detail-oriented Guest Relations Agent to enhance the guest experience from arrival to departure. With 391 rooms and award-winning dining outlets, Fairmont The Palm delivers world-class hospitality and a commitment to excellence. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service, organization, and luxury hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Welcome guests warmly with drinks and towels, ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out experience.

Maintain lobby and front desk areas for cleanliness and professional appearance.

Manage guest queues and ensure efficient communication with team members.

Handle guest registration, payments, room assignments, and key control.
-
Coordinate with housekeeping for timely room readiness and inform guests accordingly.

Support the Concierge and Royal Service teams in handling guest requests.
-
Resolve guest issues promptly or escalate to management when needed.

Promote hotel services, offers, and loyalty programs.
-
Perform accurate cash handling, charge posting, and complete daily reports.

Ensure safety protocols and standard operating procedures are followed consistently.
Qualifications & Skills:

Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel front office or guest services role.

Proficiency in English; a second language is an advantage.

Familiarity with Opera/Opera Cloud PMS and loyalty programs is a plus.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed under pressure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Flexible and adaptable to different shifts including weekends and holidays.

Professional grooming and appearance.
