Job Description:
The Groups, Conference & Events (GC&E) Manager is responsible for generating revenue and overseeing the seamless planning and execution of group bookings, conferences, and events. This role requires a results-driven approach to sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments to deliver premium guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Actively manage group accommodations and convert inquiries into confirmed sales.

Identify and pursue new group, conference, and event business opportunities.

Conduct site inspections, client meetings, and sales calls to promote the hotel’s offerings.

Coordinate with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure successful event execution.

Maintain accurate communication of event details (AV, catering, room setups) to all relevant departments.

Oversee the full event lifecycle—from inquiry to post-event feedback.

Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, event planners, and business partners.

Ensure accurate management of event contracts, deposits, and payment processes.

Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues with a high level of professionalism.

Lead and mentor the GCE team to achieve revenue targets and deliver excellent service.

Keep detailed records and prepare reports on sales, performance, and client feedback.
Requirements:

Proven experience in group bookings, conference sales, or event management within a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.

Strong communication, sales, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.

Familiarity with hotel and event software such as Opera, Delphi, or Cvent is an advantage.

Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to respond to market trends and KPIs.

Leadership skills with the ability to train and inspire a team to exceed targets.
