AXIAN Group is looking for a Group Senior Manager – Mobile Data to lead and drive mobile broadband strategies across its telecommunications operations. Based in Dubai, UAE, with regular travel to African markets, this role focuses on accelerating mobile data penetration, revenue growth, and digital inclusion while enhancing market leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and implement mobile broadband strategies for value propositions, pricing, and go-to-market frameworks.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies with market trends.

• Lead the rollout of mobile data frameworks to increase customer adoption.

• Partner with Digital and Device teams to enhance data usage.

• Engage with policymakers, NGOs, and organizations to bridge the digital divide.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

• Track KPIs, assess performance gaps, and recommend improvements.

• Support Operating Companies (OpCos) in optimizing business execution.

• Build and manage the Mobile Data Expert Community across the group.

Group Synergy & Collaboration:

• Drive innovation by scaling successful initiatives across markets.

• Foster cross-functional and cross-market collaboration to share best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Industry Expertise: Telecom markets knowledge, especially in Africa, including 4G/5G broadband.

• Leadership: Experience leading high-performing teams in Consumer Marketing, Sales, or Customer Operations.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Strong background in public-private partnerships or digital inclusion programs.

• Analytical Agility: Expertise in pricing, promotions, and data-driven decision-making.

• Execution Focus: Track record of delivering multi-country marketing transformations.

• Languages: Fluency in English and French (mandatory).

Experience & Education:

• 8+ years in Consumer Marketing or Sales within telecommunications.

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.

• Experience managing large-scale marketing transformations or commercial programs.

• Background in CSR, EdTech, or community development is a plus.
