We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Group Legal Manager to lead the legal function for a diversified international business group headquartered in Dubai. This strategic role requires a proactive legal professional capable of delivering practical, business-focused legal advice while ensuring compliance with UAE and international regulations.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior management, overseeing legal matters across the group and its subsidiaries, and supporting business growth through effective risk management and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on corporate law, governance, employment law, real estate, and commercial litigation
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Manage legal matters related to subsidiaries, joint ventures, and commercial partnerships
• Develop and implement internal legal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
• Review commercial transactions to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation
• Oversee and manage litigation cases, liaising with external counsel and legal authorities
• Support senior management with legal insights to enable informed business decisions
• Ensure adherence to UAE laws and applicable international regulations
• Maintain high standards of corporate governance and legal integrity across the group

Requirements

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar in-house or group-level legal role within the UAE or GCC
• Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken)
• Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills
• Excellent understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and provide commercially sound legal advice

Preferred:

• Master’s degree (LLM) or relevant professional legal qualifications
• Additional language skills such as French or Italian
• Experience in multi-sector or multinational organizations

Salary & Benefits

• AED 23,000 – 28,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
