We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Group Finance & Tax Manager to join a Dubai-based family office. This role will oversee group-level tax, accounting, and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while supporting strategic financial operations.
Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing tax filings, financial reporting, and process improvements across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage Corporate Tax and VAT compliance in line with UAE regulations
- Oversee tax filings, documentation, and payments to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and intercompany transactions
- Prepare tax schedules and support audits and regulatory reviews
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage month-end closing, reconciliations, and consolidation of group accounts
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards across all entities
- Oversee intercompany accounting and maintain accurate financial records
- Support statutory reporting and audit processes
Controls, Systems & Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain strong financial controls and reporting frameworks
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including system enhancements and ERP optimization
- Implement and improve management reporting (MIS) tools and processes
Business Support & Analysis
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decision-making
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business units
- Contribute to finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
- Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience
- Background in tax, compliance, and advisory (Big Four experience preferred)
- Experience within a corporate or family office environment is an advantage
- UAE experience with knowledge of local tax regulations is highly preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience with Corporate Tax, VAT, and transfer pricing
- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
