Job Title: Group Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Group Accountant to manage financial reporting, analysis, and compliance for multiple entities within our Group of Companies. This role is essential in providing accurate financial data, overseeing intercompany transactions, and supporting strategic business decisions across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis & Reporting

Prepare and analyze financial statements for various group companies.

Conduct variance analysis on revenue, expenses, and profitability.

Consolidate financials for group-level insights and management reporting.

Build financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
2. Accounting & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.

Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.

Support tax filing, audit processes, and external reporting.
-
Monitor cash flows, payables, and receivables across entities.
3. Cost Control & Process Optimization

Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for financial efficiency.

Improve financial controls and reporting accuracy.

Collaborate with departments to streamline accounting processes.
4. System & Data Management

Work with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Tally, Odoo) for financial operations.

Ensure clean, accurate, and timely financial data across all units.
5. Stakeholder Engagement

Liaise with finance teams across companies within the group.

Provide financial insights to leadership for decision-making.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and authorities.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (CPA/CMA preferred).

Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial accounting or analysis (multi-entity exposure preferred).

Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking ability.

Strong communication and team collaboration.
Preferred Experience:

Experience in a Group of Companies (GC) or multi-entity financial management.

Background in consolidation, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
