AECOM, a global leader in infrastructure consulting, is inviting UAE Nationals (with خلاصة القيد) to apply for the position of Graduate Transport Planner as part of its 2026 Graduate Program under the Fursa Program. This on-site role is located in Dubai and is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to join a world-renowned firm working on high-impact infrastructure and urban mobility projects.
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will support AECOM’s multidisciplinary Transport Planning Team, contributing to the planning, modelling, and implementation of sustainable transport solutions across the Middle East. You’ll be part of a collaborative team shaping cities and enhancing transport systems from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with data collection, analysis, and transport model development using various tools.

Contribute to the planning and evaluation of transport strategies and masterplans.

Support report writing, presentations, and proposal development.

Participate in client meetings and inter-disciplinary workshops.

Gain hands-on training across multiple areas including:

Strategic Multi-Modal Transport Modelling

Transport Impact Assessments & Policy
-
Demand Forecasting & Network Planning

Traffic Capacity Analysis & Parking Studies

ITS and Freight Planning
-
Road Safety & Micro Simulation Studies

Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field

Must be a recent graduate (Class of 2024 or 2025)

Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above (or equivalent)

UAE Nationality with a valid family book (خلاصة القيد)
Minimum Requirements:

Coursework or interest in transport planning or traffic engineering

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
