WSP is currently seeking a Graduate Consultant – Fire & Life Safety (AI Innovation) to join their Sharjah office. This full-time, hybrid role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate who is passionate about technology, artificial intelligence, and the future of smart building safety.

The selected candidate will support fire and life safety (FLS) projects by leveraging AI-powered design, analytical thinking, and sustainable decision-making. You will work alongside regional and global teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that positively impact the environments we design, build, and occupy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing fire and life safety solutions for complex buildings

• Utilize AI tools and digital technologies to optimize FLS strategies and processes

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams locally and internationally

• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and innovative project delivery

• Support the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and design documentation

• Apply engineering principles to real-world safety and compliance challenges

• Keep abreast of advancements in AI applications in the AEC industry

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of relevant industry experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Interest or exposure to AI, data science, or digital design platforms

• Familiarity with building codes, life safety regulations, and safety design concepts

• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

• High ethical standards and a desire to make a positive environmental impact
