Au Pair Jordan is currently seeking a highly qualified Arabic-speaking Governess to join a private family in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a nurturing, professional educator with a strong foundation in early childhood education or private tutoring. The selected candidate will support the child’s academic, emotional, and social development in a structured and engaging environment.

The Governess will be responsible for organizing educational activities, providing language development support in Arabic (and optionally English), and instilling discipline and good etiquette. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled childcare professional who enjoys working in a family-focused, culturally aware setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured learning and educational activities in Arabic and/or English.

• Support academic progress, language development, and proper etiquette.

• Organize creative, stimulating activities that promote cognitive and social growth.

• Assist with reading, homework, and other academic needs.

• Maintain and enforce a well-balanced daily routine, including meals and play.

• Travel with the family when required, offering consistent support.

Candidate Requirements:

• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and proficient in English.

• Prior experience as a Governess, Nanny, or Educator with strong childcare credentials.

• Solid understanding of early childhood development and education principles.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to provide firm yet kind discipline and guidance.
