SoftwareOne is seeking a Google Cloud Senior Presales Architect to join their team in Dubai. In this role, you will serve as the interface between sales and delivery teams, offering technical advice and support throughout the sales process. You will handle customer inquiries, conduct assessments, and design public and hybrid cloud architectures. The position requires deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes, and more, to develop tailored solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in presales, solution architecture, and cloud advisory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers during the sales phase.

• Conduct technical assessments and create proposals to address customer needs.

• Design and implement reliable public and hybrid cloud architectures in collaboration with customers and architects.

• Develop concepts for using Google Cloud solutions, both hybrid and pure cloud-based.

• Support the sales team in proposal creation and customer discussions.

• Contribute to the optimization and further development of customer solutions.

• Actively participate in industry trade fairs and communities.

• Continuously educate yourself and the team on GCP and other cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• Extensive IT experience with familiarity in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience in technical presales and solution architecture, including cloud readiness assessments.

• Knowledge of cloud advisory, strategy development, and application modernization.

• Proficiency with GCP products, such as Google Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Google Kubernetes Engine, and Data Platform Modernization.

• Experience working with enterprises to develop strategic plans for GCP adoption.

• GCP certification at least at the Associate level.

• Agile mindset and eagerness to expand cloud knowledge.

• Additional knowledge in Azure or AWS is a plus.
