Who You Are:

You are a strategic and detail-oriented sourcing expert with a strong understanding of international trade and procurement. You thrive in fast-paced global environments, excel in supplier negotiations, and are driven by optimizing cost, quality, and efficiency across international markets.

Role Overview:

As a Global Sourcing & Procurement Specialist, you will take ownership of end-to-end sourcing activities, from identifying and onboarding suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring seamless integration of sourced goods into the supply chain. You will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business objectives, leveraging market insights and strategic partnerships to drive value and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing Strategy & Execution:

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify and evaluate supplier capabilities globally.

  • Design and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business needs for quality, cost, and reliability.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships through consistent communication and effective contract negotiation.

  • Monitor supplier performance metrics and address any quality or delivery issues promptly.

Negotiation & Procurement:

  • Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle from demand identification to purchase order and delivery assurance.

Market Intelligence & Risk Mitigation:

  • Track global trends in pricing, availability, and sourcing challenges to inform proactive decisions.

  • Analyze and respond to supply chain disruptions with contingency planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with logistics, finance, operations, and commercial teams to align procurement efforts with broader company objectives.

  • Ensure seamless integration of new suppliers and products into the supply chain.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Maintain sourcing activities in line with internal policies and industry regulations.

  • Generate regular reports on supplier performance, cost savings, and sourcing efficiency.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with procurement tools.

  • Strong business acumen and negotiation expertise.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

  • Adaptable and collaborative team player.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

  • CRM and sales/business development experience are advantageous.

  • Prior experience in global sourcing or procurement within FMCG or consumer goods sectors is preferred.
