Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced GIS Installation Supervisor to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves assembling Siemens Energy Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) systems, handling SF6 gas, troubleshooting major issues, and ensuring that all installation processes meet safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Siemens GIS systems, including recent models such as 8DQ1-6, 8DN8-2/5/6, and 8DN9, and will work in line with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) requirements, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly & Installation: Assembling Siemens Energy GIS systems, including handling SF6 gas, performing CRM, purity, and leakage tests.

• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to Siemens Energy GIS to ensure reliable operation and performance.

• Reporting & Documentation: Preparing and submitting installation and inspection reports, sharing knowledge with the Know How Center (KHC).

• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, conducting risk assessments, and adhering to Zero Harm and safety protocols when working at heights.

• Team Leadership: Leading and supervising your team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma in an electrical discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working on construction sites with GIS systems.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in handling GIS tools and equipment, and ability to read and interpret construction and assembly drawings.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English, with the ability to network and influence effectively.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to perform well under pressure in time-sensitive situations.

• Documentation: Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
