Design Beyond, the Middle East’s first AI-driven design agency, is seeking a Full Stack / Back-End Engineer with potential to become a Co-Founder. The role involves building a scalable SaaS platform for AI-powered editorial image creation, optimizing pipelines, integrating AI and storage solutions, and collaborating with design and AI teams. The position requires strong technical expertise and a product-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a modular SaaS platform from AI workflows with multi-tenant and multi-user capabilities.

• Design the data model for projects, assets, permissions, credits, and pricing logic.

• Optimize high-volume image generation pipelines using queues, caching, and monitoring.

• Integrate AI and storage solutions using AWS/GCP, S3, or similar cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with AI engineers, designers, and creative teams to streamline processes.

• Implement growth features such as usage-based billing, onboarding flows, analytics dashboards, and integrations (Shopify, Pinterest, Instagram).

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years in SaaS or media-tech back-end development.

• Experience designing scalable architectures (microservices, async queues, multi-tenant systems).

• Proficient in Node.js / NestJS or Python / FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, and S3.

• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC tools.

• Familiarity with Stripe, OAuth/SSO, RBAC/ABAC models.

• Product-oriented mindset with focus on user experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with image/AI workflows.

• Built credit-based usage systems or e-commerce/DAM integrations.

• Knowledge of TypeScript and front-end frameworks (Next.js/React).
