Position Title: Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator

HLOG Logistics is a newly established logistics and customs brokerage company based in Dubai, part of the HLOG Group headquartered in Cameroon. As we expand our Dubai operations, we are seeking experienced and driven professionals eager to make a significant impact from day one.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily import/export freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and land to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.

• Support the Freight Forwarding Manager by managing documentation, bookings, and shipment tracking from origin to final delivery.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, incoterms, and international trade requirements.

• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including B/Ls, AWBs, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

• Contribute to the development of freight forwarding department SOPs and help improve operational efficiency.

• Manage client communication on shipment updates, service exceptions, and provide solution-oriented assistance.

• Assist in developing pricing strategies and quotations in collaboration with the Sales & Pricing Coordinator.

• Support recruitment and onboarding of junior team members as the department scales.

• Ensure data accuracy in shipment records, reports, and system updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding operations, with expertise in air, sea, and road freight.

• Proven experience in the UAE logistics industry, particularly with GCC customs and clearance procedures.

• A strong client portfolio and network in the logistics and freight forwarding industry is highly desirable.

• In-depth knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and trade regulations.

• Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and shipment tracking platforms.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, multitasking skills, and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic and/or French is a plus).

• Proactive, reliable, and committed team player who thrives in a startup environment.
