Freelance Regulatory Affairs Consultant – Pharmaceutical Industry (UAE & GCC)

Position Overview:

We are urgently hiring a Senior Regulatory Affairs Consultant on a freelance/contract basis to support pharmaceutical product registration and regulatory compliance in the UAE and GCC markets. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of local regulations, proven experience working with MOH and other health authorities, and the ability to provide strategic regulatory guidance across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical product registration in the UAE and GCC.

• Provide expert advice on regional regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance with all relevant health authority requirements.

• Act as a liaison between the company and health authorities, especially the UAE Ministry of Health and GCC regulatory bodies.

• Develop regulatory strategies and timelines for submissions, renewals, and variations.

• Monitor regulatory updates and changes across GCC and assess their impact on current and future product registrations.

• Draft responses to regulatory queries and deficiencies and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

• Guide and support internal teams and clients through dossier preparation and submission processes.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

• 7–10 years of solid experience in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs within UAE and other GCC countries.

• Strong history of successful product registrations, renewals, and variation filings.

• Deep understanding of UAE MOH processes and systems.

• Proficiency in current GCC regulatory frameworks and health authority expectations.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and independent project management skills.
