Visit.org is seeking a Freelance In-Person Event Specialist to support live, social impact events in Dubai, UAE. This temporary, on-site contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with corporate event experience who are passionate about mission-driven work and enjoy working in dynamic environments. The selected individual will serve as the on-the-ground lead for events coordinated by Visit.org, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend virtual planning sessions with corporate partners, nonprofits, and Visit.org teams.

• Take full ownership of on-site event logistics including setup, coordination, breakdown, and shipment of materials.

• Act as the lead representative for Visit.org during the event, aligning with hosts, venue staff, and volunteers.

• Manage the guest check-in process and provide a professional, friendly welcome.

• Troubleshoot real-time issues like missing supplies, delayed arrivals, or technology problems.

• Communicate consistently with Visit.org’s Event Team, sharing updates, photos, and any challenges.

• Ensure all materials are repacked and shipped post-event.

• Provide post-event clean-up and venue organization.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.

• Currently based in Dubai, UAE (no relocation provided).

• Flexible schedule and availability for event-based freelance work.

• Experience in organizing both large-scale corporate events and small executive sessions.

• Exceptional problem-solving ability and comfort working under pressure.

• Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills.

• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.

• Willingness to travel locally within Dubai for events.

• Ability to manage group dynamics and facilitate activities effectively.
