buildup is seeking a Freelance Event Project Manager for a temporary, on-site role in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing events from concept to completion, with a strong focus on creativity, technical proposal development, and supplier coordination. This role requires expertise in project management, vendor negotiations, design briefings, and BOQ creation, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth event execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the full lifecycle of event projects, from planning to post-event evaluation.

Develop and manage project timelines to meet deadlines.

Analyze RFPs and create technical proposals aligned with client requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure creative event concepts.

Brief and guide 2D and 3D designers to create designs that meet project objectives.

Manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of event elements.

Develop and monitor BOQs, maintaining cost control and providing financial reports.

Supervise event setup, execution, and teardown, troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, production, and logistics.

Mentor junior staff to support their professional development.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in event project management, with expertise in vendor and supplier management.

Strong understanding of proposal development, creative briefing, and BOQ creation.
