Bidfood Middle East, a leading foodservice company in the UAE, is hiring a Forklift Operator to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods within its warehouse and distribution operations. The role involves material handling, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling:
– Operate forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles.
– Transport goods around the warehouse efficiently.
– Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas.
Inventory Management & Accuracy:
– Support picking and packing operations with timely material movement.
– Ensure accurate tagging, scanning, and system updates during stock handling.
Safety Compliance:
– Follow company safety protocols and UAE health and safety regulations.
– Conduct daily equipment checks, reporting any malfunctions.
Stock Maintenance & Logistics Support:
– Maintain cleanliness and order in warehouse areas.
– Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed for perishable goods.
– Assist with cycle counts and physical stock checks.
– Collaborate with warehouse teams, drivers, and inventory controllers.
Required Qualifications:
✔️ High School Diploma or equivalent.
✔️ Valid UAE Forklift Operator License (mandatory).
✔️ Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse operations.
✔️ Expertise in counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, or VNA equipment.
✔️ Basic understanding of WMS or barcode scanning systems.
✔️ Knowledge of product handling and storage best practices (especially chilled/frozen goods).
✔️ Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO inventory principles.
