Position Summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is offering a Food Hygiene Internship for university students eager to explore hotel operations and food safety standards in a luxury hospitality environment. This is a hands-on role that provides a deep understanding of hygiene regulations, hotel practices, and Marriott’s globally recognized Gold Standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the hygiene officer in ensuring food safety standards are maintained across the hotel.

• Participate in regular kitchen inspections and cleanliness audits.

• Support documentation and compliance with local health and safety regulations.

• Help with temperature log reviews, sanitation checks, and reporting protocols.

• Collaborate with chefs, F&B teams, and housekeeping to uphold hygiene excellence.

• Learn and uphold The Ritz-Carlton’s Gold Standards of service and employee values.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student enrolled in a college or university program (Hospitality, Food Science, Public Health, or related field preferred).

• Strong interest in food safety, hospitality operations, and quality control.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and team-oriented mindset.

• Available for full-time, on-site internship in Dubai.
