Sephora, a global beauty leader renowned for celebrating diversity, creativity, and empowerment, is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to lead its regional finance team in the Middle East. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai offers the opportunity to oversee financial performance across six retail countries and seven legal entities, playing a strategic role in driving business decisions and growth.

Position Purpose:
To lead the Financial Planning and Controlling department by managing a team of 4 professionals and overseeing regional financial performance. This role provides essential support to both local management in the Middle East and Sephora’s headquarters in France through detailed analysis, risk management, and financial insight.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and enhance financial planning processes across the region

Lead annual budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with retail managers and department heads

Prepare and support market-level business reviews

Deliver weekly/monthly sales and financial reports with detailed variance analysis

Investigate budget deviations and propose corrective actions

Perform gross margin and stock depreciation analyses
-
Analyze market trends and profitability to identify improvement opportunities

Coach, mentor, and develop the finance team

Lead financial-related projects and process improvement initiatives
-
Coordinate pricing processes and financial modeling
-
Support capital investment preparation and evaluation
Skills, Qualifications, and Personal Attributes:

Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration

10+ years in financial leadership roles within multinational companies; retail industry experience preferred

Strong analytical and financial acumen
-
Proven team leadership and project management skills
-
Excellent interpersonal and organizational capabilities
-
Agile, proactive, problem-solving mindset

Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required

Experience with SAP and Power BI is a strong advantage
