Financial Consultant – Tax & Accounting | CA/ACCA | Dubai

Job Description:

We are hiring a qualified Financial Consultant (CA/ACCA) with 1–2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation to join our dynamic advisory team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a background in chartered accountancy firms and strong exposure to VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping & General Ledger

• Maintain and update accurate accounting records

• Post journal entries and manage general ledger activities

• Conduct month-end closings and prepare supporting schedules

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

• Ensure IFRS compliance in all financial reports

• Analyze cash flow trends and prepare projections

3. Reconciliations & Internal Controls

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Monitor security deposits, lease reconciliations, and receivables

• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency

4. Taxation – VAT & Corporate Tax

• Ensure accurate VAT computation, filing, and timely payments

• Handle UAE Corporate Tax (CT) calculations, reporting, and filing

• Assist with audits and tax inspections

• Stay updated with evolving tax regulations in the UAE

Requirements:

• Qualified CA or ACCA

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance (e.g., BCom, MCom)

• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in a CA or financial consulting firm

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax

• Excellent understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills

Salary:

AED 5,000 – 6,500 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
