A prestigious investment firm based in DIFC, Dubai is looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This full-time, on-site position offers a dynamic opportunity to oversee core accounting functions and support financial reporting, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and audit coordination. The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional with experience in investment firms or Big 4 audit backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:

Record daily and monthly transactions in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics).

Manage revenue, expenses, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and department budgets.

Ensure effective general ledger controls through reconciliations and validations.

Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations (bank, intercompany, etc.).

Support the Director of Finance with financial performance reporting and data analysis.

Prepare variance analysis and commentary for management decision-making.
-
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting processes.
-
Assist with expense tracking, financial modeling, and investment reporting.

Oversee financial audits, prepare annual financial statements, and liaise with external auditors.

Coordinate VAT and UAE Corporate Tax filings with external consultants.

Manage accounting for investment SPVs and group portfolios.

Support automation and process improvements across finance operations.

Perform any additional tasks delegated by the Director of Finance.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education:
-
Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or CMA.

Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred.
Experience:
-
4–6 years of relevant experience, including:
-
2–4 years in a Big 4 audit firm.

Experience in GL accounting, budgeting, and reporting.

Preferred experience in investment firms, private equity, or family offices.

Competencies:
-
Strong knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
-
Familiarity with financial consolidations and investment structures (SPVs, funds).

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics ERP.

Process improvement and risk assessment capabilities.
