Job Title: Finance Reporting Manager
Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:

Oversee daily general ledger (GL) operations ensuring timely and accurate transaction postings.

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to accounting policies.

Review and approve journal entries, maintaining strong internal controls over GL transactions and system access.
Reconciliation Process:

Lead the preparation and review of balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and promote collaboration for sub-ledger alignment.

Investigate discrepancies and maintain an efficient reconciliation tracking system.
Reporting & Compliance:
-
Analyze GL data to identify trends, anomalies, and explain significant variances to senior management.

Support preparation of external financial reports and regulatory filings in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors while enforcing internal controls.
Stakeholder & People Management:

Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, reporting, and IT teams to ensure financial data accuracy.

Act as an escalation point for critical finance issues and provide regular updates to senior management.

Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team aligned with business priorities and continuous improvement.
Process Improvement:

Drive initiatives to automate and optimize GL and reconciliation processes.

Align Record-to-Report (R2R) processes across subsidiaries, implementing best practices.

Identify and implement efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
-
Professional certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA (mandatory).
Experience:
-
Minimum 7 years of experience in financial reporting, GL management, and financial close processes.

Strong expertise in financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
-
Proven experience in stakeholder management and leading finance teams.
-
Experience with finance shared services and the Middle East market is preferred.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle Fusion, or Workday.

Familiarity with reconciliation and automation tools (ARCS, BlackLine, RPA, AI analytics).

In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and revenue recognition principles.
