About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in manpower services, maid services, cleaning services, or similar staffing businesses operating on hourly billing models.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing end-to-end financial operations in outsourced manpower companies, including timesheet-based billing, cost allocation, workforce profitability analysis, and client invoicing.

This role requires strong financial leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to optimize profitability within a high-volume, service-based environment.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and financial compliance.

  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management.

Billing & Revenue Control

  • Manage client billing processes based on timesheets and hourly rates.

  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition and invoicing.

  • Monitor receivables and improve cash flow management.

  • Implement controls to prevent revenue leakage.

Cost Control & Profitability

  • Analyze manpower cost structures including wages, overtime, visa costs, and operational expenses.

  • Monitor gross margins by client, contract, and project.

  • Develop cost optimization strategies to improve profitability.

  • Evaluate pricing structures for competitiveness and sustainability.

Audit & Internal Controls

  • Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.

  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Improve financial systems and reporting efficiencies.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred).

  • Proven finance experience within manpower, maid services, cleaning services, or outsourced staffing businesses.

  • Strong understanding of hourly billing models and workforce cost structures.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced financial reporting capabilities.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
