Role Overview

A leading UAE-based family-owned group operating across multiple industries is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead group-wide financial strategy, governance, and performance. Based in Dubai, this senior leadership role will oversee finance operations across a diversified portfolio including renewable energy, healthcare, real estate, facility management, landscaping, and automotive auctioning.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with deep UAE market experience, a strong background in multi-entity group structures, and proven capability in driving financial discipline, strategic growth, and stakeholder confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Define and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with group growth objectives

• Forecast financial performance using data-driven insights and market trends

• Support expansion initiatives, new ventures, and long-term capital planning

Budgeting, Cost Control & Performance Management

• Lead group-wide budgeting and forecasting processes

• Monitor financial performance across subsidiaries and ensure cost discipline

• Establish KPIs and financial controls to enhance profitability and efficiency

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies

• Manage internal and external audits and maintain strong internal control frameworks

Treasury, Cash Flow & Risk Management

• Manage treasury functions, cash flow, liquidity, and working capital across the group

• Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and investment risks

• Oversee insurance coverage, funding structures, and capital allocation

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple business units

• Drive continuous improvement, capability building, and performance accountability

Stakeholder & Board Engagement

• Act as the primary financial advisor to shareholders, board members, auditors, and banking partners

• Present financial insights to support strategic decision-making and governance

Strategic Initiatives & Growth Support

• Provide financial leadership on M&A, joint ventures, restructuring, and new market entry

• Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments and improve returns

Systems & Process Optimization

• Oversee implementation and enhancement of financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools

• Drive automation and process efficiency across finance operations

Candidate Requirements

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of total finance experience

• At least 5 years of experience in the UAE

• Proven experience in multi-industry group or holding company environments

• Background in family-owned businesses or diversified conglomerates is essential

Compensation

AED 40,000 – 45,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances
