BettingJobs, on behalf of a newly launched national lottery operator in the UAE, is hiring a Finance Assistant to join their Abu Dhabi office. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for candidates with a finance or accounting background looking to grow within the iGaming industry. The role involves supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting efforts while ensuring accurate and compliant financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly financial reports

Conduct financial analysis on revenue, expenses, and industry trends

Track financial performance against KPIs and targets

Accurately process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
-
Support profit and loss tracking, as well as variance analysis
-
Maintain up-to-date financial records following company policies and procedures

Contribute to cross-departmental cost management and efficiency strategies

Prepare financial presentations and assist senior finance professionals with reporting

Handle various ad-hoc financial analysis and tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

1–3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role
-
iGaming industry experience is a plus
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tools

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
-
Excellent English communication skills; Arabic proficiency is an advantage

Must be eligible to obtain any necessary licenses or work permits
