The Plot Pictures, GCC and MENAT’s first independent narrative studio, is seeking a Film Publicist with 2–3 years of experience in entertainment, film, or media publicity. The role focuses on building awareness, reputation, and audience engagement for films and TV series locally, regionally, and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:

Publicity Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive publicity plans aligned with release schedules; define target audiences, messaging, and budgets.

Media Relations & Press Engagement: Maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media houses; pitch stories and distribute press materials.

Event, Premiere & Festival Support: Coordinate press screenings, premieres, and festival appearances; manage logistics, invites, and talent coordination.

Spokesperson & Talent Liaison: Prepare directors, actors, and producers for media interactions; coordinate interviews and press tours.

Content Creation & Digital Sync: Collaborate with marketing teams to align messaging across social media and digital channels; provide media assets.

Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage, measure reach and impact, and produce performance reports.

Budget & Vendor Management: Manage publicity budgets and liaise with PR agencies, photographers, and vendors.

Crisis / Reputation Management: Handle negative press situations and coordinate internal communications.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

2–3 years in film, entertainment, or media publicity.

Proven experience with print, broadcast, and online media; existing Middle East media contacts a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.

Strong creative writing skills for press materials.

Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work in fast-paced environments.

Confident interpersonal skills; professional and collaborative.

Familiarity with social media and digital press platforms.
Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with international film festivals.

Knowledge of Middle East and regional film markets.

Fluency in additional regional languages.

Experience with influencer/creator partnerships.

Skills in photo/video production.
