Field Services Specialist


GE Vernova is seeking a Field Services Specialist to perform services and maintenance activities on customer sites. The role involves installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The specialist will provide technical guidance, conduct training sessions, and ensure compliance with GE safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install systems and equipment on-site, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Respond to emergency repair requests and provide technical support to customer representatives.
- Conduct training programs for internal and external teams to enhance field engineering expertise.
- Handle administrative tasks, including writing technical reports, ordering materials, and updating job status reports.
- Ensure warranty administration and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a strong safety mindset while performing technical duties.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of field engineering experience.
- Experience working with GE, Siemens, ABB, and Allen Bradley equipment.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Capability to work remotely as required.
