Field Service Representative – Defense Sector (Middle East)


Nokia is seeking a technically adept and mission-driven Field Service Representative – Defense Sector to join its Space & Defense team in the Middle East. This full-time, hybrid role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in telecommunications and defense, who are passionate about delivering next-generation connectivity solutions. You’ll collaborate with sales and development teams to tailor technical offerings for NATO and allied nations, while supporting bid teams and driving innovation in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and develop defense-sector business opportunities
- Provide expert technical support and consultative solution development
- Deliver compelling technical presentations to articulate Nokia’s value proposition
- Contribute to customer network evolution plans and strategic solution alignment
- Address complex technical challenges and develop mitigation strategies
- Support bid teams during proposal phases, ensuring technical compliance
- Act as a subject matter expert on best practices and market trends
- Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in telecommunications or defense sectors
- Strong understanding of solution architectures and network evolution
- Proven ability to deliver technical presentations and consultative sales support
- Expertise in developing business strategies and technical solutions
- Familiarity with network security protocols and compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with military or governmental clients
- Background in defense agencies or public sector organizations
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related field
- Multilingual capabilities for diverse customer engagement
