Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team in Dubai. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting automation products in the field, installing and commissioning automation systems in substations, and providing technical support to customers. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree in electronic/electrical engineering and experience with digitalization in industrial environments, particularly in substations and power transformers. Strong technical skills and manual dexterity are essential, along with experience in SCADA systems and transformer monitoring systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of automation products in the field

• Install and commission automation systems in substations

• Provide technical support for customers via telephone, online, and on-site

• Investigate and clarify the root causes of faults, collaborating with internal teams

• Conduct product training sessions for customers, either on-site or remotely

• Integrate products into customer systems (e.g., SCADA) and perform troubleshooting

• Develop Modbus systems to integrate various sensors into ETOS® systems for transformers

• Prepare service reports and customer documentation

• Ensure customer satisfaction, gathering feedback, and reporting to headquarters

Skills Required:

• Engineering degree in electronic/electrical engineering

• Strong understanding of digitalization in industrial environments, specifically in substations and power transformers

• Excellent technical and manual skills

• Independent and meticulous work ethic

• Customer-oriented with strong reliability

• Experience in commissioning complex electrical systems (preferred)

• Familiarity with SCADA systems in substations (preferred)

• Proficiency in English is mandatory

• Experience with AVRs, transformer monitoring systems, OLTCs is a plus

• Willingness to travel 50-60% nationally and internationally
