Digitus_Group is currently hiring Fiber Technicians to support their growing operations in Dubai, UAE. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for experienced professionals in the fiber optic industry, particularly those skilled in Outside Plant (OSP) operations. As a Fiber Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fiber optic networks, ensuring high-performance connectivity for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precise fiber optic splicing and termination to industry standards.

• Conduct OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) testing and signal measurement to assess and optimize fiber network performance.

• Troubleshoot and maintain OSP fiber networks, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt service restoration.

• Utilize specialized fiber tools and equipment such as splicing machines, power meters, and OTDRs effectively and safely.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic fieldwork, specifically OSP operations.

• Proven proficiency in using fiber tools, splicing machines, OTDRs, and signal testing equipment.

• Valid UAE driving license (2-wheeler licenses are also accepted).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge in fiber networking.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a field team in a fast-paced environment.
