The Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking an experienced academic professional to join its Faculty of Business, specializing in Tourism Management. This role involves both teaching and research, with a focus on curriculum development, instructional delivery aligned to international standards, and close integration with industry practices. Faculty members are expected to contribute to the academic mission of the institution and support student development in an applied, student-centric learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and relevant courses in Tourism Management.

• Participate in the development, review, and enhancement of curriculum and instructional content.

• Apply industry insights to inform teaching and support student learning outcomes.

• Guide students in research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.

• Maintain academic and professional excellence through ongoing research and publications.

• Engage in extracurricular, community, and institutional events and initiatives.

• Support institutional policies and contribute to academic governance and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Tourism Management or a closely related field.

• Professional certification relevant to the tourism industry is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

• At least 5 years of industry experience in tourism or hospitality management (preferred).

• Experience in curriculum development aligned with international accreditation standards.

• Strong understanding of applied, experiential, and student-centered learning methodologies.
