Facility Management Director

Join Egis as a Facility Management Director. Provide strategic advisory and leadership in facility management for public sector clients across the GCC, focusing on operational efficiencies, service quality, and sustainability. This role involves overseeing service providers, managing relationships, and driving continuous improvements across multiple facilities and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to public sector clients across the GCC, guiding facility management operations in the MESA region.

  • Supervise third-party service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with KPIs and industry standards.

  • Implement global best practices in facilities management, driving innovation and operational efficiencies.

  • Lead the development of operational strategies to enhance client satisfaction, reduce costs, and improve sustainability outcomes.

  • Introduce innovative technologies to optimize facility management processes.

  • Conduct design reviews to ensure operational efficiency, sustainability, and long-term maintenance.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met with effective solutions.

  • Conduct performance reviews of service providers to align with client expectations and industry standards.

  • Support the contract acquisition process, assisting with proposal development and client negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or consultancy role.

  • Proven experience with public sector clients in the GCC region, including client acquisition and managing service providers.

  • Expertise in implementing best practices for facility management, focusing on innovation and efficiency.

  • In-depth knowledge of the GCC market, especially UAE, KSA, and Qatar.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Certifications & Registrations:

  • Professional certifications such as IFMA, FM Certification, or RICS are highly desirable.

  • Registration with local regulatory bodies in the GCC is a plus.

  • Certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Sustainability (LEED, BREEAM) would be advantageous.
