Carter Murray is hiring a Facilities Manager for a global logistics company to oversee operations and maintenance of multiple warehouses across the GCC. The ideal candidate will ensure facilities are safe, functional, and cost-efficient, optimizing space and equipment usage.
Key Responsibilities:

Policy Development:
-
Develop and implement department policies and procedures in line with international best practices.

Maintenance & Repairs:
-
Plan and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure facilities are in top condition.
-

Safety & Compliance:
-
Enforce safety regulations and ensure warehouses comply with local laws and standards.
-

Vendor Management:
-
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with service providers (maintenance, security, etc.).
-

Budgeting & Cost Efficiency:
-
Work with senior management to prepare and manage facility budgets for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
-

Security Oversight:
-
Implement and manage security measures to protect warehouses and their contents.
-

Reporting & Communication:
-
Create and present reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other activities to senior management.

Key Requirements:
-
Experience:
-
Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a warehouse setting.
-
Strong knowledge of technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.

Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree required.
-

Skills:

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
