About the Company:

A leading retail group in the UAE is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join its growing operations team in Dubai. This role is integral to ensuring smooth coordination between stores, suppliers, and internal departments while overseeing critical aspects of freight, shipment tracking, document handling, and reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

📦 Freight & Shipment Coordination

  • Verify and reconcile freight invoices and customs duties against quotes and shipment values

  • Book shipments with multiple freight vendors, negotiating optimal rates and timelines

  • Maintain accurate records in the Master Freight & Duty Payment File

  • Track and update overseas shipments and coordinate customs clearance with delivery timelines

📄 Documentation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and consolidate essential documents: HS Code Summary, Delivery Advice (DA), and Certificate of Origin (CO) applications

  • Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and chambers of commerce to collect Delivery Orders and export certificates

  • Follow up with the legal team for Trade License renewals and regulatory needs

📊 Reporting & MIS

  • Generate and compile purchase data, stock variance reports, and daily sales reports

  • Work with the data entry and inventory control teams to ensure accurate records and stock documentation

  • Prepare and submit store visit reports and logistics-related MIS to supervisors regularly

🛍️ Retail Store Support

  • Coordinate store openings/closings with IT setup, stationary procurement, and marketing assets

  • Assist store operations by aligning with the Club Apparel (loyalty team), marketing, and design teams for promotional needs

💰 Finance & Vendor Coordination

  • Work closely with Finance and Accounts departments to process supplier payments and verify principal vouchers

  • Manage and hand over GCC-related stock documents to the logistics division


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the retail industry

  • Strong knowledge of freight booking, invoice reconciliation, customs documentation, and vendor coordination

  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and internal reporting systems (ERP knowledge preferred)

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
