Role Summary:
The Executive Assistant will provide professional, dynamic, and high-level administrative support to the Principal at GEMS SRI. This role is crucial for the efficient functioning of the Principal’s Office and serves as a liaison among school leadership, staff, parents, and the wider GEMS community. The successful candidate will handle communications, scheduling, event organization, and confidential administrative tasks with the utmost professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Principal.

Manage the Principal’s calendar, professional correspondence, and coordination of meetings and events.

Organize school-wide events and support communication and publicity initiatives.

Maintain accurate and confidential records, reports, and documentation in line with GEMS policies.

Coordinate documentation related to personnel processes such as contracts and attendance.

Deliver high-quality reception and hospitality services for visitors and external contacts.

Demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and flexibility in handling diverse tasks and priorities.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution preferred.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting senior leaders, ideally within an educational environment.

Proven ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.

Exceptional written and spoken English skills, including professional communication via email and phone.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent time management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.

Friendly, approachable, and confident interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
