The Lana, a luxury property by Dorchester Collection, is looking for an Events Coordinator to join their team. This role involves managing and coordinating events and group bookings, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless experience for guests while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop strong relationships within the Groups & Events segments

Increase production and revenue to meet and exceed hotel budgets

Contract and plan group room blocks and meeting spaces from start to finish

Prepare event/group documentation and coordinate with clients and suppliers for high-level service

Send weekly reports on events & groups to all hotel departments

Manage administrative activities of the department
-
Analyze business reports and data daily to stay updated on the hotel’s needs
Qualifications:
-
Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Previous experience with Opera (preferred)
-
Fluency in English (additional languages, especially Arabic, are a plus)

Ability to build positive business relationships and work strategically

Passion for creating memorable guest experiences
