SLB, a global technology leader in the oil and gas sector, is currently hiring an experienced ETO Process Engineer to join their operations in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site role, ideal for an individual with deep expertise in process engineering, equipment design, and project execution within the oil and gas field.

The ETO (Engineer-To-Order) Process Engineer plays a critical role in understanding customer specifications, designing equipment to meet those needs, and ensuring full compliance with technical requirements. You’ll be involved in both pre-sales technical proposals and project execution, offering innovative solutions to maximize production efficiency and field performance for SLB’s clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review customer inquiries and technical specifications to develop optimal process or equipment design solutions.

• Design and customize oil and gas field equipment to align with performance and production requirements.

• Prepare technical proposals outlining scope, performance specs, warranties, and delivery timelines.

• Perform advanced process simulations using business-defined engineering software.

• Lead creation of project deliverables for cost estimating, drafting, and design engineering.

• Confirm compliance with client purchase orders and technical requirements.

• Conduct peer reviews of proposals, designs, cost estimates, and technical drawings.

• Support project commissioning, pre-commissioning, and field troubleshooting activities.

• Collaborate with clients during field development planning and system tenders.

• Provide input to internal R&D, software development, and workflow improvement initiatives.

• Develop and maintain personal and team competency through continuous training and experience sharing.

• Travel on-site for startup support and technical troubleshooting when needed.

Experience Required:

• 6–8+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas, engineering consultancies, EPCs, or production facilities.

• Proven expertise in process engineering, particularly in oilfield equipment or facility design.

• Hands-on experience with site engineering, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and field troubleshooting.

Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of facility process engineering principles.

• Strong proficiency in process simulation, equipment sizing, and technical documentation.

• Familiarity with the complete engineering workflow from inquiry review to project delivery.

• Effective communicator with the ability to present technical content clearly and persuasively.
