UMI GROUP is looking for an Estimator with expertise in exhibitions, interior design, and fitout projects. The role involves conducting cost estimations, preparing bids, and collaborating with design and project teams to ensure accuracy and cost-efficiency for exhibition and fitout projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Evaluation: Review interior design plans, fitout specifications, and exhibition requirements, collaborating with design teams to understand the project’s creative and technical needs.

• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and specialty items, using industry-specific knowledge and benchmarks.

• Bid Preparation: Prepare competitive bids and proposals for interior design and exhibition projects, working with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for quotes.

• Creative Solutions: Offer cost-effective and innovative solutions, working with design teams to maintain project aesthetics while optimizing costs.

• Specialized Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in interior design, fitout, and exhibition projects, applying this knowledge to enhance estimating accuracy.

• Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather project information and clarify design details.

• Risk Assessment: Identify and address risks associated with projects, providing strategies to mitigate issues.

• Leadership: Lead and mentor junior estimators, fostering collaboration between teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience as an Estimator in interior design, fitout, or exhibition projects.

• Skills: In-depth knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and construction methods, and proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
