John Crane, a global leader in flow control solutions and part of the Smiths Group, is hiring an EPC Key Account Manager in Dubai. This full-time, on-site position is focused on managing relationships with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms across the MEA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial sales, project strategy, and rotating equipment solutions within the energy and process industries.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Global First Fit strategy and secure regional strategic projects

Build and manage long-term relationships with EPC clients in the MEA region

Lead strategy development for key accounts and collaborate with global engineering and sales teams

Identify new opportunities in petrochemicals, oil & gas, heavy industry, and energy transition sectors

Drive proposal and contract negotiations that meet customer needs and business goals
-
Utilize CRM systems and tools like Blue-sheet, Gold-sheet, and LAMP for sales coordination

Align with End User Sales teams to ensure aftermarket business capture

Participate in cross-functional meetings to enhance regional communication and project alignment

Develop personal commercial and technical skills to support sales efficiency and innovation
Candidate Requirements:

Engineering degree (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial preferred)

Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in the MEA region, including 3+ years in business development

Proven experience in large account management and project sales in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors

Knowledge of energy transition markets and familiarity with EPC, OEM, and end-user dynamics

Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate a matrix organization
Technical Skills:

Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, filtration) is an advantage

Excellent multi-project management capabilities

Ability to interact with senior executives internally and externally
