Join Modern Building Contracting Company as an Environment Health Safety (EHS) Lead
Modern Building Contracting Co. (MBCC), a top-tier construction company with a strong presence across the UAE and Lebanon, is seeking a highly experienced EHS Lead for its on-site operations in Sharjah. With over 3,000 employees and licenses for unlimited tower construction, MBCC is looking for a safety professional to drive compliance and promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness across its projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee implementation of EHS standards and policies across construction sites.

• Conduct environmental awareness and health & safety training sessions for staff.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and construction safety norms.

• Monitor site operations to proactively identify risks and enforce corrective actions.

• Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and incident reports.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and management to improve safety outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Nearly 12 years of experience in the construction sector, especially with high-rise buildings.

• Holds a Level 6 or 7 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OTHM, IDIP, NVQ) from a recognized European body.

• Minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• NEBOSH and IOSH certified; other international/local safety certifications highly preferred.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Proven track record of safety training and compliance from recognized local and international authorities.
