Edelman Smithfield, a global financial communications firm, is seeking an experienced English Copywriter for a three-year secondment in Abu Dhabi. The role involves crafting high-quality, engaging content for a top financial client while collaborating with Edelman Smithfield’s global network. This in-house position is ideal for a skilled communicator with financial acumen and the ability to translate complex information into compelling copy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce clear, engaging content across formats: press releases, white papers, opinion pieces, speeches, internal communications, and social media.

• Serve as the primary editorial lead within the client’s team, aligning with Edelman Smithfield’s global editorial and strategy teams.

• Collaborate with senior business and communications stakeholders to shape narratives and deliver messaging aligned with brand voice and strategy.

• Edit and enhance existing content for clarity, tone, and consistency.

• Contribute to ideation and creative development, applying storytelling to complex topics.

• Manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Position Requirements:

• 4–6 years of professional writing experience, preferably in an agency or corporate communications setting.

• Native-level fluency in English; Arabic skills are a plus.

• Strong portfolio showcasing business writing, thought leadership, and editorial content.

• Familiarity with financial services, banking, or corporate institutions is highly desirable.

• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple workstreams effectively.

• Based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi for the assignment.
