emew Clean Technologies is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and execute detailed engineering for electrowinning skids and hydrometallurgical process packages while driving customer-facing technical activities. The role involves project management, team leadership, and collaboration with global customers and engineering teams to deliver innovative metal recovery solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Project Delivery (70%)

Lead basic and detailed engineering activities including PFDs, P&IDs, mass/energy balances, equipment lists, and utility diagrams.

Develop and review process specification sheets, layouts, and instrument lists to ensure compliance with process requirements.

Implement engineering procedures, manage project documentation, and prepare operation manuals and commissioning procedures.

Continuously improve skid-mounted design to reduce site execution time and manpower requirements.

Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal disciplines to ensure smooth delivery of engineered packages.

Conduct safety reviews and provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
Customer & Project Management (30%)

Interface with customers to clarify scope, technical specifications, and requirements.

Attend customer meetings, deliver technical presentations, and support sales with application engineering and feasibility documents.

Prepare and submit customer deliverables, ensuring specification compliance and alignment with requirements.

Support technical discussions with suppliers and customers while protecting commercial and technical interests.
Team Development

Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering.

10+ years’ experience in OEM companies in Oil & Gas, Mining/Metallurgy, or related process industries.

Strong expertise in hydrometallurgy/electrowinning operations; direct plant experience advantageous.

Proven experience in detailed engineering and project management for skid-mounted process systems.

Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to build, inspire, and manage technical teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Creative problem-solving with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
-
Willingness to travel internationally (~40% of the time).
