Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to support the Director of Engineering in overseeing the overall functionality of the engineering operations. This full-time, on-site role is integral to ensuring the hotel’s equipment, building systems, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards. The successful candidate will help drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety across all engineering services to support hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Engineering in managing the engineering department’s operations efficiently and in line with Hyatt’s corporate standards.

• Ensure consistent service delivery by supplying essential utilities and services to all operating departments.

• Oversee the maintenance of hotel facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and optimal functionality.

• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs and manage special engineering projects as needed.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure maintenance services meet the needs of all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house.

• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, energy management protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or Building Management.

• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance systems and engineering project management.

• Technical knowledge in systems such as HVAC, ventilation, refrigeration, water/waste treatment, fire safety, and hydraulics is a strong advantage.

• Proven ability to lead teams and maintain a high standard of performance in a hospitality setting.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
