Role Description:
The Emergency Intervention Team (EIT) Member will respond to emergencies such as fires, rescues, gas leaks, and first-aid incidents. This role is open exclusively to UAE Nationals and is crucial for maintaining operational safety. The EIT Member will also support training initiatives, safety inspections, and coordination with external emergency services.

Key Responsibilities:

During Emergencies:

• Respond immediately to emergency situations under EIT Supervisor guidance.

• Provide direct intervention or guidance during incidents such as fires, rescues, or hazardous material spills.

• Support external emergency services (Civil Defence, ambulance) for coordination and information sharing.

During Non-Emergency Periods:

• Maintain emergency vehicles and equipment in ready condition.

• Conduct routine inspections of firefighting and safety equipment.

• Deliver emergency preparedness training and drills for all departments.

• Participate in annual large-scale emergency drills with Civil Defence.

• Assist with Civil Defence visits and compliance checks.

Additional Safety Duties:

• Carry out basic health & safety inspections.

• Oversee confined space and hot work activities to ensure compliance.

• Support loss prevention and maintain firefighting equipment.

Requirements:

Education:

• Minimum: Secondary High School

• Preferred Certifications: HAZMAT or Radiological Protection

Professional Experience:

• Previous experience as a firefighter or emergency responder

• Advanced firefighting and rescue training

• Basic/Emergency first-aid knowledge

• Experience with fire detection and suppression systems

• Full UAE driving license

Nice to Have:

• Experience in steelmaking, nuclear, or oil & gas industries

• NFPA training, SCBA procedures, confined space knowledge

• Civil Defence Life Safety Code knowledge

• Rope access and advanced rescue techniques

• Basic Microsoft Windows skills
