Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for individual students, small groups, and full classes.

• Create a positive learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth.

• Use active listening skills and maintain positive, supportive relationships with students and parents.

• Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners.

• Implement ICT tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning.

• Engage actively in continuous professional development.

• Foster respect, discipline, and mutual care within the school community.

• Contribute to extra-curricular programs and school initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching in a relevant setting.

• Strong knowledge and application of American Curriculum teaching methods.

• Prior experience working with students for whom English is a second language.

• Proficient in using ICT for educational purposes.

• Ability to work with children and adults in a calm, positive, and sensitive manner.

• Initiative-driven with strong active listening and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Strong command of English (spoken and written).

• Specialist training in curriculum/learning areas is an advantage.

• Must pass a clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) or police check.
