Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring all work meets regulatory and safety standards. You’ll play a key part in troubleshooting electrical issues, conducting routine inspections, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, the ability to interpret blueprints, and a proactive approach to maintaining electrical systems with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in line with safety and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth and efficient electrical operations.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, taking corrective action swiftly.

• Perform routine inspections to detect potential issues and ensure safety standards are upheld.

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and materials used.

• Provide support and guidance to junior electricians and apprentices.

• Keep current with industry regulations, technologies, and best practices.

• Respond promptly to emergency electrical calls and ensure rapid issue resolution.

• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety procedures and company policies.

• Collaborate with other departments to meet cross-functional electrical requirements.
