ENGIE Solutions Middle East is hiring an experienced Electrical Technician to support data center operations. The role involves maintaining electrical systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensuring 99.999% uptime of critical infrastructure. Ideal for candidates with a background in facilities management and a focus on electrical, ELV, UPS, and generator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of electrical systems including UPS, LV panels, switchgears, and BMS.

• Ensure health and functionality of critical equipment such as busway systems, controllers, ELV, and fire/life safety systems.

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on all facility electrical components.

• Operate and maintain all electrical systems and related monitoring tools (BMS, DCIM).

• Create and close job cards in CAFM (FSI Mobile App) as per site requirements.

• Respond to emergency calls and resolve electrical issues promptly.

• Submit maintenance reports and suggest operational improvements.

• Comply with safety standards and participate in PTW processes.

• Maintain inventory of spare parts and support after-hours maintenance activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of power systems (UPS, control panels, DBs, generators).

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, chillers, BMS, and ELV systems.

• Competency in troubleshooting and maintaining standby generator systems and switchgear.

• Familiarity with CAFM systems and mobile work order tools.

• Ability to work independently and in rotating shifts (24×7).

Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical and Electronics.

• 3 years of experience in integrated data center facilities management.

• 2 years of experience in electrical commissioning/testing within data centers.
